Mound nonprofit aims at safety abroad
When Allen and Sheryl Hill, of Mound, lost their 16-year old son while he was on a student abroad trip in Japan on June 29, 2007, they knew that they wanted to use their experience to help people avoid the same situation.
John's variety store to relocate
After the Mound City Council approved changes to the Mound Comprehensive Plan for the southwest corner of Commerce Boulevard and Linwood Boulevard on Jan. 24, plans are beginning to form for construction of a Walgreens.
School board accepts teacher negotiations
The Mound Westonka School Board voted unanimously to accept the terms and conditions of the teachers' master contract during the Jan. 23 board meeting.
